Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using JamReady you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Use of service
JamReady is provided for music practice, transcription and arrangement. You may use it only with musical works that you are legally entitled to digitize, reproduce and modify.
You may not use the service to upload, scan, transcribe, arrange, transpose, store, export or otherwise process any musical work for which you do not hold the necessary rights, licences or permissions, nor for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for determining whether you hold those rights.
3. User content and your warranties
You retain all rights you hold in the scores you upload. By uploading a score, you grant JamReady a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you.
By uploading, processing or exporting any score, you represent and warrant that, for that work, you either (a) own it, (b) it is in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or (c) you have obtained all rights, licences, consents and permissions from the relevant rights holders that are necessary to digitize, reproduce, transcribe, transpose, arrange, adapt, modify, store and export it using JamReady.
You acknowledge that JamReady does not grant, transfer, clear, license or verify any rights in any work, and that the existence of any feature does not imply that a given use is lawful. Clearing rights is your responsibility alone.
You will be required to affirm these warranties for each work at the point of scanning. That affirmation is recorded.
4. Nature of the service
JamReady is an AI-assisted editing tool and nothing more. It reads, transcribes and lets you modify musical notation. It is not a publisher, a rights clearing house, a licensing agent or a legal adviser, and it makes no judgement about whether your use of any work is lawful.
AI-based scanning and transcription are inherently imperfect. We make no warranty that any scanned, transcribed, transposed or arranged output is accurate, complete or fit for any purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all output before relying on it.
5. Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed by Stripe. Unused scan quota does not roll over. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to JamReady at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
7. Limitation of liability
JamReady is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any claim arising from (a) the content you upload or export, (b) your right or lack of right to use any work, or (c) any inaccuracy in scanned or generated output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless JamReady and its operators from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) any score you upload, process or export, (b) your breach of the warranties in Section 3, or (c) any infringement of a third party's intellectual property or other rights resulting from your use of the service.
9. Copyright complaints
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe a user has used JamReady to infringe your rights, contact us through our contact page with enough detail to identify the work and the alleged infringement. We will review valid notices and may remove content and terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
